Infection?

I injected into my left quad for the first time. I went close to the center of my quad but leaning towards the lower right quadrant. This was Wednesday night, it is now Friday morning.

I have tightness and slight pain throughout the muscle. Right above my knee it is worse. There is some swelling here and slightly warm to the touch.

Do I have a problem or could this just be a reaction to never having injected here before? I hit both Glutes and did not have this reaction. Not sure if it matters but I did a very light leg day the morning after the injection.

Thanks MS. Leg is doing 10x better now. Still a little puffy around the knee but it's fine. I was going to skip the other quad and go straight to my delts but I'm gonna hit the other quad tomorrow morning.
