Plant protein is superior to meat protein for our digestive systems?

Here's some interesting articles and websites:

Humans are natural plant eaters: http://michaelbluejay.com/veg/natural.html

    All about protein: http://michaelbluejay.com/veg/protein.html

    Vegan bodybuilding: http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/

Some of these vegan bodybuilders are huge... getting their amino acids from plant sources and nuts only.

Kind of makes you think. What are thoughts ?

the bioavailability of most plant proteins is quite low when compared to animal sources (including milk and eggs)

many plant sources are complete proteins, but servings contain protein amounts in the single digits; for the general population, yes, you can satisfy your pro requirements with veggie and legume sources

however, when hypertrophy (as well as muscle mass maintenance), performance, and/or endurance are your goals, you need more protein, period.

even the vegan BBs need to supplement with a lot of powders/shakes in order to achieve the minimum requirements of a lifter; if you can stomach pea, rice, and wheat pro blends (pretty hardcore stuff by the way) everyday, then more power to you

and the claims of humans being 'natural plant eaters' is hooey perpetuated by PETA wackjobs

    I completely agree as well,

Humans are true omnivores. If we were meant to eat plant material only we would have teeth and a multichambered stomach like cows. Conversely if we were meant to eat meat only we would be built like a tiger with huge fangs, claws and powerful musclulature to bring down pray.
