    Cycle prep

    Does anyone partake in any type of pre cycle prep like soft tissue work and maybe band exercises for ligaments, any more so than usual? Or perhaps any type of cleansing for a week or two? I ask especially for the last part as I will often have stomach issues with the amounts of food I eat while gaining, so I've always stuck with shorter bulks than reccomended (i actually have been doing the two week bulk/cut deal for a while). Anyhow, I obv plan to eat more heavily than normal bulk with AAS and am fingding a few questions here and there as cycle approaches, thanks in advance!!

    edit: this stuff may not be necessary, I have been lifting and exercising my whole life basically but I know not to just crank thru weights like a maniac and damage anything, but I'm just looking to stay healthy all around... these are just a fee things I thought of, and this post is to see if anyone would like to share any prep they do that they find necessary, thanks again B-)

    I know guys that do 4/5 day cleanses before cycling. Nothing but water. There's gotta be benefits to it health wise. Clean out the your liver/insides. They stay in the gym and most of them are delerious and craving a bloody steak by day 4/5 lol. Obviously gonna loose some weight and strength but if you wanna take care of your body/flush it out... it couldn't hurt.

    I'd say its always a good idea to go slow at first. Strengthen your ligaments. Get a good feel for what you can handle so you don't hurt yourself.

    I make fresh juice a lot, only way my son gets greens he won't eat anything green, but I found out you can juice cranberry's, so I'm gonna use those and some veggies, ginger, some detox notable stuff I can't remember I have it saved somewhere, but I'll go at that for a few days.... Yea I'm pretty solid mind over matter wise but Christ nothing but water?? that's tough sounding lol

    I juice every day (fruit/vegetable). Lots of beats/ginger/lemon/carrots. Ive done alot of damage to my body, I still am, and I figure eating healthy/juicing can't hurt. I'm never perfect or that nuts about it, but I've been eating as little salt/sugar/fat/redmeat/processed foods as possible. I love it. Body feels alot better. The guys I know that do the water, are the same. They're thinking about taking care of their insides. Cleanses are absolutely good for you.

    do you mean on cycle or just in general life for health benefits... if I search his posts should I find it? Will definitely check I know Marcus is knowledgeable

    That's what I do a pre cycle prime to help open a growth window, kind of work well with my body type and its create a lot of size. I know some on here aren't into to much size but rather the beach boy bodybuilder but either way pre cycle priming is a great way to create a very anabolic environment for the cycle.

    lol I guess you could call me that, however I am going for optimal size in this, been saving for massive but clean eating, my son eats all day now so I was thinking I should get holiday shopping done before eating like a horse lol...I actually am currently dropping calories and carbs as what I know has lead me to believe this was good, I'm tweaking it a bit based on your post... glad I come to these forums!!

    It wasn't a derogative comment its just many on here have different aims and goals, I like size others like to be slim and other want to cut bf. Its just a term I use but its not to offend anyone maybe my English humour coming out. Anyway either way what ever your goals pre cycle priming can be use IMHO.

    well being of English heritage ( tho not living there myself) I would be used to a bit of hectoring however I actually meant that as a statement, not to indicate I'd felt picked on LOLOL I agree, it seems beneficial for whatever goal, I'll begin cycling in the pattern you've laid out and tweak based on my body's response
