    Protein bars

Are they a waste of time in meal plans?

The only protein bars I trust art Quest protein bars...they're delicious and only have a trace amount of carbs.

Can those bars be brought at GNC? The bars I normally eat are pretty shitty. High in trans fat and sugar.

They are a quick on the go protein source, but most I have tried I have not liked. Although the ones it the MREs from my deployment days in USMC were the bomb.

If you are looking at those as something to eat while at home or something, then I don't recommend it because you can eat other protein sources (fish, chicken, beef etc.) But if you are on the go at work and need something to eat fast then go for it. I used to buy them for when I'm in a hurry and need something to eat while at work. I loved Quest bars because it was reasonably priced.
