The standard practice for cutting fat according to members is to determine your TDEE and eat 3-500 below this (with proper macros). My understanding was that if calories become too low, that the overall metabolic rate drops. The other risk would be if calories are too low that a person could lose muscle mass.
I just want to communicate that I understand these points while I lead into my question: Would AAS while cutting allow for a GREATER caloric defect? Given that AAS would maintain muscle while calories drop.
