Please help possible abscess.

I’m on trt (not through dr) and have been injecting for years. I use a never use same needle 2x and I am careful. I switched suppliers and injected 3 days ago now I have a baseball size lump and it’s warm. Is this a abscess. I used a 1” needle in my left glute. I think I was lazy and went a little high more like hip. I’m really don’t want to go into a hospital with all this craziness with corona

I don't think it is, you have symptoms but could also be high pip gear and your not used to it.if you get a fever and red area starts growing see a doc..a abscess won't kill you after 3 days..don't try to drain it yourself!see if it resolves itself..ive drained my own, it's a mistake, spreads the infection sometimes if your not careful..

At the clinic. She thinks it’s just cellulitis. She has never see it before. I can’t post a pic. I may need to go to the er

The clinic said wait 24 48 hours and see if the pills work. As long as I don’t spike a fever over 100.5. Hope that’s not a mistake

I've had 100 similar situations..is it oil based?
It's unlikely it's a abscess..hey do anything you want to protect your health but I think your worrying over nothing..wait 3 days it will be going away..I've had abscess, you'll know it's a abscess..pictures, won't tell anything, time is only thing that matters..doc will put you under local and slice it open to get out infection and pack it with gauze..it's not that bad, not fun, but you'll live regardless..

Sometimes pip or gear just doesn't sit right in certain areas will cause serious inflammation..
Iam not a doctor just a guy who has had abscess and shot a ton of oil, take my word or don't but worrying won't do anything..
Either go to doc and slice it open or give it some days and see how you feel..

Bigger than a baseball. It is about the size of 1.5 baseballs now. My fever is still under 100 but if it gets to 100.4 i was told to go to the er. I I don’t know what I can’t post a pic. Maybe because I’m.new

It doesn’t look like those high red golf ball type abscess. The area has general redness but it so fucking swollen and really hurts. It’s like having the love handle of a 400lb man. I’m 6ft and 175 so it’s really apparent

I dunno man, iam changing my mind might have got a hair or fiber on pin and pushed it into your muscle?sounds like er is a good idea..be real with doctor but tell everyone else you sat on a nail on a pallet or something

No I’m not exaggerating at all. It’s the size of a kids football now. My wife has no idea I use test so I am putting it off. It’s fucking huge and throbbing. Sorry I know there is nothing you can do. Just driving myself crazy. It hurts to walk. I was reading about a sterile abscess.

Did they prescribe antibiotics? You need to go back to the urgent care bud. I wouldn’t mess around, especially if it continues to grow and cause you pain. Nothing normal about that at all. Not being an alarmist, but better to error on the side of caution. You don’t have to tell them you shot test (I wouldn’t use that gear again though under any circumstances) can tell you them you tried a peptide or a B12 injection. Either way, they’re not going to care what you put in your body, they’ll just remind you not to do it again and hopefully get this under control for you. If it’s doing what you described, you just roll now

Going to the er today. The immediate care prescribed. Sulfameth/Trimethoprim 800/160Mg And Cephalexin 500Mg Capsule. Plus I’m already on Amox-clave from a pitbull bite on 3-17. It’s been a hell of a ride lately.

Hard to tell but it just might be an inflammatory response. Hopefully that and not an abscess. Regardless, I’m no doctor and it’s in your best interest to see one. Wishing you the best

An abscess will have pocket of puss which is why people will attempt to drain them with a needle and alleviate the pressure. Doing so without puss is likely to cause more inflammation and exacerbate the situation and could easily spread the infection. I know you we’re trying to help. You’re all good in my book brother

So the er just thinks it an allergic reaction to the substance . He said he has never seen such a dramatic response to an oil based product. He said it may be a “ Sterile abscess“ but wouldn’t order aN mri or ultrasound unless it didn’t get better in a week or so. Didn’t want to expose me or others unnecessarily. Also I was not smart. The day this started I tried to suck out the abcess with a sterile needle in 3
Spots.nothing but air and a huge blood spurt in one location which probably made it worse. Thanks again guys. I’ll keep you posted. It’s amazing I was willing to risk sepsis than tell my wife. Maybe it’s time for a divorce.

If definitely made it worse. Glad you’re ok. Keep taking your meds. It’s the secrets we keep man, but not worth our health. Don’t know your relationship, but hopefully moving forward you’ll keep your overall physical health at the forefront. I’d still stay away from that gear...especially since this happened on your first run with it.

Figured it out thanks. And thank you all for the help. It’s still really swollen but it’s going down about 1/5 a day. I’ll take it. Thanks again for taking the time to help.

oil based 1/10000 at least with proper injection techniques..think I've answered 100 of these and all came out same..nada
