need some ideas
Ok here's my problem:
I go to school from 8:00am to 12:30pm I work-out from 2:00pm to 3:30pm I go to work from 4:00pm to 12:00am. I want to start using slin pwo. I pack a lunch that I keep in the refrigerator. I know if I take slin, I need two meals:
1. After about an hour, eat a protein meal with some carbs NO FATS
2. Wait 3-4 hours after your Humalog injection to eat any protein / fat meals......also don't completely OD on carbs or it will also be stored in undesirable places (in other words you'll get fat).
I was hoping someone can give me some ideas on what to pack that will be good cold, that I can eat while I'm at work to accomplish what I need. My job is mostly driving so no microwave. Any help/advice is apprecaited.

Jerky, lunch meat, canned tuna and breath mints...

I pack a peanut butter sandwich, a can of tuna, an apple and some peanuts...but thats not enough to get me through a day plus it gets old eating the same day everything day after day.
Any more ideas?

They have those electric cooler that plug into your cars lighter...Or you can just refreeze ice packs daily and keep a cooler in the car...As long as you don't mind eating cold meat, the possibilities are endless...
