i have been eatin raw oats ed for a long time with no probs
put me down for +1. cooking oats lowers the GI a little, but they are one of the best, if not the best, carb source out there.
I use a small, cheap coffee grinder to grind them up, and then add them to shakes. If you drink it fast, they won't all sink to the bottom :D
hahah thats the worst, when you finish your shake and theyre all stacked up at the bottom, and you have to go in with a spoon to scoop them out. :lol:Quote:

Man, blended raw oats go in my shake first thing in the morning.
they dont even taste that bad in a shake, ive eaten worse tasting things.
lol sometimes im under the illusion that i just blended them so fine that i didnt feel them in the shake, then once i finish the actual whey and see them lurking in shadows of my not-so-empty cup, i get really disappointed :)Quote:

Just get the large mixer, throw in a cup of oats and 2 scoops whey. Blends well and really easy to clean.
i just started eating my oats raw....its the only way now for me. It seems like so much less food to get down. I just take a scoop of oats, swish a little water around and swallow. Bland but it gets the job done...and thats all thats important
Me too, it involved an ex g/f and a dark room. I wondered what the taste was and came up looking like coco the clown.Quote:
