    non fat milk in protein shake?

    is it ok to drink?

    I don't see why not, It's a good source of protein and carbs, and if you choose a nice low fat soy milk for instance the carbs will be low GI.

    What are your goals though? The question is very vague.

    trying to gain 5 -7 lbs naturally.

    Post work out you may want to avoid using too much milk as it will slow down the absorption process from what I have read, however during other times of the day I would recommended it as a way or getting more calories in. See what others have top say.

    If you are bulking, then milk isn't bad. Great source of extra calories from protein and simple carbs.
    However, if you are trying to stay lean, then you don't wanna too much milk, its a sugar bomb.

    i dont see the problem in using it in my opinion, but if your protien is a carb drink to i would recommend water all the way

    If your protein drink is a carb drink, I would recommend getting rid of it and doing whey and skim milk, it's excellent as long as you are not allergic to milk.
