A lot of my friends around me are telling me that I'm drinking way too much water(I drink approx. 5-7 liters). Is there anything called "too much water". If yes how much do you think should be the limit? I'm just curious to hear from you guys.

I don't think that's too much. I easily drink that much most days. What's your occupation?

Hypertremia is a condition caused by drinking too much water. Unless you are working all day in super humid conditions 1 1/2 to 2 gallons a day would be the upper end of hydration most people would require.
LOL, yeah SC qualifies as humid. 5 liters is what...a tad over a gallon?

3/4 gallon minimum is what you wanna be doing...
Believe so, I was not insinuating anything over 2 gallons will cause hypertremia just stating you can drink too much water and it can actually kill you. It's more prevalent amongst marathon runners and long distance cyclist who try and super hydrate themselves.
So what do you guys think is the optimal water intake when cutting?
Yeah I read an article about this woman who died after drinking too much water...kinda scarry!
I drink about 8L a day sometimes more... only problem is I wake up every night to piss... gets pretty annoying
