Lifted this morning
Flat dumb bell bench
Upright rows
Side lateral raises
Front raises
Shrugs
Standing calf raises
Close grip bench
17 sets and no cardio. But I have just walked over 3 miles at a brisk pace across/around London and have another 2 miles to do later.
Just sat having a coffee and, ahem, maybe a little cake before I go get my left arm tattoo finished. Not sure what that means as to missing any training next week but I will still be able to do legs if nothing else.
sounds like you are off to a fabulous friday!!!!!!!!
Painful Friday but got my ink finishedQuote:

Damn if I didn't look good today because of it and had a good lifting session too:)
Yeah, as long as I eat zero fat for the next 3 days I'll be fine lolQuote:

I extended my debaucherous cheat meal on Saturday into 3 cheat days:) having said that I don't think my weight will drop this next week. I've had some good workouts and some good lifts over the last week.
Bit stressed at home due to several plumbing issues in my new gaff but that should be resolved soon. I'm getting extra cardio this week climbing ladders and emptying receptacles.
I extended my cheat weekend after the comp into a 7 week cheat. Weight only up by 2lbs. Not bad ;)
So don't feel guilty!
Guilty? Who said guilty? Hell no mate:)Quote:

Indeed! The fact that I can 'binge' and control my weight is reassuring. I know what I'm eating and I can adjust daily on a rough basis.
:)
Of course, the downside is that progress is limited at best. But sometimes you just need to put your body through a maintenance period in terms of weight. Until this week I'd pretty much gone 8 weeks with only the tiniest variation here and there.Quote:

Got my Uni timetable this week - and I'm going to be working at the gym, so this next year is going to be a very exciting change!
You going to continue your 'lean bulk' until after Xmas?
Hoping to lean bulk until spring I think. Hopefully I will have NHS funded TRT by the end of next month and I can start planning my next cycle. I'm hoping work will get in the way at the start of next year so I'd like to get a cycle in before the end of the year.Quote:

Kinda just receptionist/general body - he's paying for my PT Level3, so I'll do that part time. Then I'll PT as well.
It's just a handful of hours a week to start as a bit of extra cash, it's my friends gym. The doorwork only pays so much, it doesn't cover all the expenses of my lifestyle! I'm fed up of crap chicken!
Well, the end of a crap week.
Plenty of plumbing issues have kept me busy and I've managed to minimise the actual plumbing costs to £135 which is still a harsh blow but a necessity.
I have managed to hit all dietary plans and all training except 30 mins worth of cardio. I could just eat less to take that into account but I'm not gonna:)
^^ i dont blame you! :)
My new lifting programme is a little bittersweet. There is no flow to it and it sometimes seems like trudge but I am lifting substantially more weight on several exercises particularly flat bench dumbell press and straight bar bicep curls.
Cheat legal last night was half a pack of these
Attachment 144125
Followed by a pasta bolognese bake
Followed by 6 chocolate biscuits.
I was down on carbs and protein on the day but probably doubled my fat intake.
As usual, my cheat meal led to a good workout the morning after:)
Weekly weigh in 196.4lbs.
Up 1.2lbs this week. No real reason why I should have gained so much over the last 2 weeks but I'm not complaining.
Next week I am reverting to HIIT but staying with the same split.
Nice, bib. Youre going to be lean and over 200 soon.
Cheers bud, It's been an embarrassingly long time since I was in any kind of shape at 200lb. Onwards and upwards:)Quote:

Weekly weigh in 197.8lbs. Up 1.4lbs this week. Again, I'm not doing anything special to get this weight gain, I'm only eating about 300 extra cals a day on top of what was maintaining 193lbs. The only other change is in my TRT protocol. Off gel and onto about 100mg injectable per week.
I'm back onto HIT training this week
Is that NHS TRT bro?Quote:

Not NHS yet. Ran out of my private prescription so using 7 weeks of UGL test until my follow up NHS appt where I am hoping they will agree to treat me and put me on Nebido. I can't imagine the small amount I am running has accounted for nearly 5lbs in 3 weeks but I will just keep going as I am, it is bulking season after all:)Quote:

The most local bodpod I found to me was London. Fvck that trip, I avoid London at all cost!
I doubt I will have to have another blood test but I will make sure I am lower than normal at my next appointment just in case.Quote:

My former glory is starting to walk up the path.

Struggled to eat my carb intake for the last 2 days.
I definitely look leaner so I was expecting a drop of maybe a couple of lbs this week. As it is it's only a loss of 0.2lbs putting me at 197.6.
I am being taken away to Tenerife in 6 weeks time hence the increase in cardio. I should still be in a weekly caloric surplus but about 800cals less than I was. Not sure it will make that much difference in terms of bodyfat but it will do no harm.
Tenerife sounds nice.
Fvck, fvck, fvck, fvck, fvck. I put my back out at the gym this morning. Arse. It hasn't 'gone' for over a year so I've had a good run but I'm really pissed off. Halfway through my first set of leg presses. Took me 15 minutes before I could mobilise myself enough to even walk out the gym.
Typically this has happened as I am hitting a really good patch with my training and progress. Up to 198.2lbs this week.
Rest and ice and hope it resolves itself quickly. I'm sure I can modify my workouts to fit but I doubt there'll be any more leg work for a week or 2:(
