2g protein per lb bodyweight ?

so cutting bf atm, so carbs are lower & fats, if im getting in 2g protein per LB bodyweight for extra cals and for upping the protein is that overkill ? when im adding size i tend to aim for about 1.5g per lb as im eating much much more carbs, but as carbs are lower i tend to eat more protein.

    Height?

    Fat intake?

I don't think there is really much need to go more than 1.5g of protein per lean lb of body weight. Cycle carbs by all means but if you do you should consider true carb cycling.

If you are placing carbs with protein you might not be as efficient as you think.

There is a sticky at the top of this section by GBrice 101 carb cycling or something, read it.

BTW I have no idea why, at your stats, you are taking aas, GH and contemplating slim. Your stats have been pretty stagnant for a while I think but your regular dieting questions suggest to me that you would be better off focusing on this aspect rather than GH and slin imho

im training 1 day on 1 day off, training days i eat about 200g carbs, 300g protein & 60g fats, non training days drop the carbs to about 60g from greens and berries and slightly up my protein intake and fats (starting to use PB) looking to get lean as possible!!

    you using Natty PB?

Switching to that really helped me lean up for my last show.

I've read a couple different studies that state your point of diminishing returns on protein intake is around .8 to 1 g per lb of body weight. Upping to 2g or more per lb sounds like extreme overkill.
