6 week labs done. Thyroid issues. Need advice

Hello everyone. I have had lethergy, brain fog, poor memory, and others. I was on 25mcg cytomel and had my 6 week labs done (results below). doctor put me on 25mcg of synthroid now in addition to the cytomel and will do labs again in 2 months. I don't feel any change. Is this new medicine going to do anything? It seems low.

Here is a link to my previous thread. http://forums.steroid.com/hormone-re...ribing-t3.html

No one have any thoughts? My E2 seems low at 4 and my test is down about 150 points.

Yes, your E2 is low. I'm not familiar with the range provided so I'll assume the proper test was run. Normally at such a low level you'll notice joint and or libido issues. Your doc up on thyroid meds?

    Your Thyroid labs stink!

The Thyroid is under performing and while the synthroid may help you may need T3 as well.

If you don't feel any better in a few weeks you will need to seek out a Endo who has total mastery over the Thyroid.

Make sure they are Thyroid specialists as most Endo's are not that well trained in managing the Thyroid.

I suspect this is the route you will have to take but give it time.

I was thinking borderline hyper but FT3/4 are usually higher at that point. Def adjust meds like G said.

Thanks everyone. The E2 test was ultra sensitive from quest diagnostics. I have been having joint issues. Any way to raise it a little?

I have been taking T3 at 25mcg split twice. That's why my tsh went from 2.5 to what it is now. Doctor added the 25mcg sythroid last Friday. I didn't have free T3 ran the first time but did have total and it barely raised any.

Doc said if I don't feel better in two months she's sending me to an endo. My memory has been shot to the point where it is affecting my job. Need to get this situated quickly.

Thank you all for your help.
