Should i take HGH at 18? What brands are recomended?

Hi im an 18 year old, ive been lifting for about 3 years and ive made some pretty decent progress in that time but in the last 6 months my progress has nearly come to a stop. Most recently i competed in a highschool weight lifting competition and i cut down 15 lbs to get into a lower weight class. I hurt my shoulder while i was there and with the cut in weight i am the weakest ive been in a while. It frustrates me to see my peers surpassing me, specifically 2 guys who are shredded and crazy strong for their age. Its rumored that theyre taking Growth hormones but im not sure if thats true, would they have that much of an effect on a person? My question is would HGH give me the boost i need to push me to the next level? Or would i just be wasting my time as i ve been told im still young and do not need it. What brands would be recomended? Ive found many kinds online but i wouldnt want to buy something useless. Im completely new to this so sorry in advance if my question is stupid.

Wait, you don't want gigantism facial or hand features. Or intestinal hypertrophy

You should still have plenty of natural HGH output at your age, no need to waste $$$$$ to only hinder your health this early. Spend them on food.

    No, you should not.

Could it be possible that the peers you are writing about might have just trained harder than you? Ate better than you? Wanted it more than you?

At the end of the day, only one thing matters: Do the work.

The only stories I've heard of hgh users your age is positive. It doesn't matter because you can't afford legit hgh. Befriend those 2 guys and ask them what they're taking. Might be nothing but a good program and genetics.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess i could wait... Eating wise i eat plenty, gaining/ losing weight is not much of a problem. id say my regular body weight is 170lbs. I can go up to 180 and as far down as 155 but i feel like 170 is my ideal weight. Im only 5'6 by the way so getting into the 180's i start looking fat. I guess ill try educating my self more on a dieting and find a solid diet plan to help me gain leaner weight. I feel like i train hard enough but i guess ill have to train smarter, ill try finding a better program to help me get through this plateau. I wanted to come back stronger than i was before and i thought hgh would help but ill take your advice. Im still a young with lots to learn this is exactly why i came here i needed someone to steer me in the right direction, people who actually know what theyre talking about. Thanks again!

first of all, no. second of all, good for you for accepting everyone's advice. third of all, i would only EVER take hgh to lose fat and have more energy in the gym, and I would only get it from a doctor or from a guy/girl that I knew had a prescription. If you can be a lean 155-170 at your height, I bet you would look awesome! I played the size game when I was your age, and I looked like shit now that I look back. Go to the training forum and learn a ton from guys with decades of training experience!

At 18 yrs old I would say absolutely not! You should be taking advantage of your own naturally high hormone levels at that age. All you need is DEDICATION,TRAINING,DIET & REST.

In a word, no. For me, diet makes more difference than anything in terms of appearance and reasonable gains. I'm 56 and I just kept getting the advice of "diet, diet, diet" on here and finally listened a couple of years ago. I did a couple cycles remotely of "dirty bulk" (cycled without proper diet) and got big...and fat and looked like crap. I lifted with clean diet, on keto, etc. and the results were crazy if a good diet was adhered to.
I admire you for taking advice here and approaching with common sense and being rational. You can't buy the amount of expertise that exists on this board with some of the elite members so my advice would be diet and getting to know the guys on this forum - you can maximize your efforts that way no doubt.

The only thing a guy your age should be taking is vitamin P

Hi. If you have an injury, suggest rest or TB500 for recovery. Hgh is not needed at 18 and is expensive. If I find a bottle with a genie inside, my only wish is pharm grade hgh dosage for life after age of 30.

Thanks for reaching out and asking your question. No question is stupid. Only thing that is stupid is not being receptive to thoughtful advise you may not want to hear.

Those 2 other dudes may have genetic gifts or doing something stupid like test only to have limb dicks later and no one likes limp!
