Mrs Fireguy's Results/Contest Pics
Turned out to be a very big show, over 100 competitors.
I had 8 guys in my class and missed first by 1 point, ended up in 3rd after the tie breakers were put in place. Will have a seperate thread for my contest and prep very soon.
As far as Mrs Fireguy, we did Mixed Pairs too, had 3 entries in that class. We won that class with first place votes from every judge.
In the Open Womens Lightweight Class there were 4 girls. Mrs FG took first in that class with a perfect score of 5. She then went on and beat the other class winner to take the Overall Womens title for the show! Could not be any prouder of her!! She looked awesome.

She stayed very lean this off season, we started her diet 14 weeks out with a BF% of 18.89. (Her last comp before the show was 11.03%)
Her cardio started at 65 minutes per day and gradually went up to 90 minutes per day. (always divided into 2 sessions). Cut all cardio wednesday evening the week of the show.
I started her carbs cycled at 50-50-50-200 and gradually decreased til a low of 25-25-25-60 was hit a few weeks out.
Her protein stayed between 190-215 the entire diet with fats between 45-70 grams per day. I tried a new approach and scheduled her high carb days on her non workout days to help fill her out and it seemed to work great.
Her sodium was kept around 4,000 mgs the entire diet with the exception of the last week. We ran it up to 7,000mgs until thursday then dropped it to 2,000mgs on friday. Yes, 2 grams of sodium the day before the show.
Water was high throughout and cut at 4pm friday. After that she had about 8 ounces to sip in before prejudging.

I am not sure how big they are, all I know as that she can use a ton of weight on standing and seated calf machines. To be totally honest with you I think it is because she has such tiny feet (size 6) it allows her to lift them very heavy. Truth be told she only trains them starting about 8 weeks out from contest time.
