Hey! New here and need a little help.
My name's Jason, 5'10, 205lbs. Mid January I pulled weight over my head to do some triceps. When I was bending over I felt a pop in my lower abs, right on the midline a few inches below my belly button where the connective tissue is. I talked to a few doctors, no hernias, but they told me that my muscle was starting to tear, either from itself or from the fascia. Muscle strain? Been doing some research. Wondering if any of you have experience with this type of stuff and if there are any good supplements or anything that I could take to get my back into my regular lifting routine. Thank you!

Hi Jason and welcome to the forum. Did you Doctor not offer any advice as to your best course of action in regards to treatment? I would think if your abdominal muscles or fascia has been compromised to the extent that you have mentioned. Then you need to be very careful with lifting until that heals completely. You could be risking a hernia. And hernias can be very hard to fix sometimes. Take care bro.

The doctor told me to just ease back into it and that I could do anything that doesn't hurt. 1. How will I know when and if it is healed completely? 2. Will HGH or anything of the like help in the healing process?
