Aspirating...

Ok, I've only done one injection so far, and when I aspirated it was hard as hell to pull the plunger back even a little bit but the directions all say aspirate about 1/4 cc.

My question is IF I hit a vein will pulling the plunger back be noticably easier so I don't have to jerk so hard to try to aspirate?

what site were you using? sometimes its very hard to aspirate, as long as you aspirate just a little and don't see blood, your cool. if you hit a blood vessel, you will know it, it will be easy to aspirate.

hmm when you aspirate do you have to take the needle out again if there is no blood

no, if there is no blood when you aspirate, you can inject. if there is blood, pull it out and replace the pin, then go for it again, not in the same spot of course.

I was using the Anabolic Review procedure. Well now it's steroid.com. But yeah what I was wanting to know was just that...If I hit a vein will aspiration be easy?

Regardless if it's easy or not, if you get blood, start over...you should never draw up blood.

I have had a few instances when I drew up some blood in the pin. I have never pulled the needle out and started over. There is no need to waste the sharpness of your needle by reinjecting. Your blood vessels are very thin and small. If you draw up some blood, simply pull the needle out a little and go around it be angling it in a different direction. Then aspirate again. If no blood, go ahead and inject. Hope this helps..........

yeah!!!!!!!!!!! if you like pain for the next 5 days. By the way, having a needle in your muscle and moving it around isn't such a good idea,unless you like thick scar tissue. i think i'll stick to changing the $.05 needle.

Absolutely....moving the needle around is causing micro tissue damage.

Im not tryin to flame anyone here, but when ppl ask questions on AR they intend on recieving the best info and advise possible, please dont reply to questions when you dont know what your talking about.

And to answer your question bro, if when aspirating you do pull up some blood, dont worry, just pull out, replace with a new pin and relocate(in the same muscle)

If that was as easy as it sounds, that would be the procedure used in hospitals, but it isn't. Better to be safe than sorry.

aspirating was always a pain for me... i have never hit a vein tho.... so i couldn't only imagine how ez it would be if i hit one

My a$$ better hurry up and get use to the test cause now my left side is sore from my 2nd injection. Been doing a good job so far though both times have been right on the money.
