    i am getting one tomorrow, how long can I expect to be out of the gym. Its not like wisdom teeth right?

    It's dry socket. Basically don't suck anything for about a week. "That didn't come out right." You will suck out the blood clots that are forming and continue to bleed. Downtime will be 2-3 days depending on your pain tolerance.
