Dextrose/Maltodextrin

Hey bro's, is it better/more cost effective to buy whey protein/dextrose/maltodextrin separately and mix yourelf, or is the savings so minimal that I should just buy the all in one stuff? Who has the cheapest stuff?? Thanks.

I use TrueProtein for custom blends of protein, and to get my dex/malto blend. The dex/malto blend is 2.25/lb.
