Terumo seem smoother, but BD have the larger/wider "stop" for leverage when pushing the plunger

terumo pins seem to personally hurt less, i think they're sharper or something, cause when i started using them my shots were even more painless-

BUT the terumo plungers seem to have "sticky" points...they get stuck sometimes after i have them pulled back and want to start pushing forward.

so ideally you'd have a terumo pin on a BD plunger

This question was about the needles, not the syringes right?

I think BD syringes are fine, but I will never buy another one of their needles! I got two bad batches that required the use of a file and a hammer to get them into the skin. You could then feel the tips plowing through the muscle...no thank you. I ordered some Terumo pins and have never looked back. They are always sharp and reliable.

Well after hearing more what you guys said perhaps I will get half & half. That way I can intimately inspect each. I also will examine the tips of the needle themselves with a magnifier. Take back to back injections & hopefully can make a intelligent decision. I will post my findings soon...

The one difference I noticed between the two is that there was always less juice left in the Terumo than the BD following the inject. But it also probably depends on the size and guage of the pin etc.

good idea... you could always use the bd syringes to draw out and then exchange them with a terumo to inject..
