Getting shut down

Can any of the harsher steroids on your HPTA, ie deca, permanently alter your testosterone production or hormone balance? Or do you just get shut down until your PCT kicks in? I ask b/c a while ago i took deca before researching the site and was curious of the potential consequences. Also, is trib the best way to keep your natural test up during cycles w/o test? Thanks guys... My next cycle will def include test.

After proper pct all things should go back to normal. It may take more time then expected though.
