will one vial top set off an airport metal detector? help!

I just found out that I need to fly to L.A. next monday, but I am taking sust EOD... I dont want to miss the 2 or 3 shots while I am there.

I dont want my **** x-rayed, I dont want it in my checked baggage either, I was thinking of thigh taping it, but I am not sure about the airport metal detector? Its only a 10cc bottle and the aluminum seems smaller in volume than the rivet off of a pair of levis....

make them put it under the plane... you have a less chance of them actually going through your stuff, as compared to a carry on bag or going through a metal detector.

I personally would not risk carrying that on the plane and going through a checkpoint. Checked luggage is probably a safer way to go but I wouldn't do either. I would take my last injection right before I left and not take it with me. Many people mail it to themselves on the other end. This is another reason why I llike longer esters. i went home a week ago for break and i put deca and 10 syringes in a pharmacy bag. just my luck i opend my bag and there was a slip sayin they searched it. but all my **** was there. huge risk but i guess it looked legit cause it was in the pharmacy bag.

After the sept 11 things have changed and now with these baseball players everything is getting f@*%ed up. I used to work as a passenger screening agent, but dont take the risk police will be called if they find it on you as you go through the screening point. Best is to put it in your checked baggage. Just make sure you are not going through customs there you might have to open even your checked lagguage.
If any questions PM me. Also they are doing random searches at the screening point, you dont have to even set off the x-ray machine or walk through metal detactor.

ill figgure something out, belive dat... I aint going without da' juice... I have an empty supertest250 vial and I will probably just inject a weeks supply into that, then remove the metal part and wrap the whole thing with surgical tape so it stays shut... Ill jock it and get my pins when I arrive... easy, peasy, japaniesy...

Seriously though, if you take the metal cap off you should be fine, but it is quite a chance you are taking. How long will you be gone?

Bro I have flown internationally and have put a prop vial and 10 syringes in my bag. No problems whatsoever. I would definately not suggest putting it in a carry on. Just hide it somewhere in your suitcase. The people watching the x-rays are by no means FBI agents and probably have no clue how to identify a vial. Just put it in your toiletries and take off the lable.

caps already off, proper dosage inserted into the vial and surgical tape is securing the lid... done and done... no metal

Dude, it will probably go off. I had a pack of gum in my pocket, one of those plastic blister packs with 6 pieces in it ( eclpise gum to be exact), and the **** thing went off cause of just the thin layer of aluminum foil on the back of the gum.

Worst comes to worst, just prefill the needles and find a way to get them into the lining of your bag.

welll i had a vial of test , in my underware by my nutz, i wore sweatpants and all non metal stuff so there is no way in hell something could go off and have a potential metal alarm go off. also if u where jeans , make sure it has a zipper and a belt so then when they scan that peece they will ask u to undo ur belt and then thats all there is , my vial didnt set it off so i dont c why urs would

The obvious thing to do would be to put it in your checked luggage
Metal or no metal, even a plain glass vial, dont even try to carry it on, I mean, come on, I shouldn't have to tell ya that . .
A few things; how long are ya gone for? what gear are ya on? what country are ya going to?
