Anyone been to Panama? The country?

I just got back from Panama. See the canal. If you can, see the lake that is part of the canal, it is nice too. The have some native tribes that you can go look at, its ok. Most of all, check out the free zone, ask for it when you get there, ppl will know what you are talking about. My advice is to stay on the Pacific side of the country, it is much nicer.

Yeah, no taxes or duty. But thats not the cool part. You see, the way their tax system works is the local area gets revenue from sales tax. Well next to these free zones there are areas with no tax revenues cuz they charge no tax. There is some crazy stuff going on there, kinda like tijuana used to be.

Cool. Is there a limit to what you can bring back? Do you get taxed when you bring it in?

I am not sure if this is good or bad, but the ladies can be very friendly....the only problem is that they will look for a little $$'s when you want them to leave. Prostitution is very prevelant in Panama.

Seriously, If you speak the language going out can be a blast. Sorry do not remember any of the clubs, but it was a hoot.
