Does Propecia/Poscar stop Hair Loss or Helps loss Hair grow back?

    Guys,

I havent used either but my hair has noticeably thinned and it has me so pissed right now. My question is if using Proscar or Propecia, will my hair simply quit fallng out or will the hair that I have loss come back too thus, stopping the good hair from falling out? Thanks.

proscar/propecia, same thing. 5mg vs 1mg. take 1mg for treatment of mpb. basically it should stop or slow the thinning. wont do much for back of head...but may do some.

i thought finasteride (propecia) did do shit for the back of the head, and simply didnt do much for the front, as far as the front sides, the first area to go

The way finasteride works is by blocking 5AR enzymes which convert test into DHT.So id say it only slows down hair loss rather than causes hair to regrow. I was gonna start usin it on a cycle i was on until i realised you have to use it for 6 months for it to start working

never know...ive run into some assclown docs. just wanted a fresh script once before leaving country...and doctor advised me to not take propecia cause my wang would fall off hate that faggot Just do your research, tell him what you want and listen him his advise only if he is an expert (chances are he wont have a clue).

propecia means cosmetic purposes.... proscar means you have issues (typically benign prostate hypertrophy, bph) and therefore you can get insurance to pick that up and from there break the 5mg tabs into ~1mg doses. kinda sketchy, huh?

I've been using fina @ 1mg/day and minoxidil 5% for about 5 months now and hair loss has definately stopped. I'm actually seeing my hair growing back and it's cool

Propecia does induce hair to grow back after 3-5 months of use. But the new follicles will all fall out again when the drug is stopped.
Now you know why so many men are on this crap for the long haul.
