    Is that what Magic Johnson has been on for the last 10-11 years?

    He's using something to keep him alive, everyone thought he was going to die way back when.

    Pharmaceutical companies don't come out with cures anymore. They have wised-up/evilled-up. They come out with treatments, not cures. Treatments require that you keep buying their products, cures mean it's a one time deal and don't make them money like treatments do in the long run...

    Like i already said, they don't sell cures anymore, there is no money in cures. Pharmaceutical companies sell treatments, so you always have to depend on their products...

    He has HIV, not aids, he wouldnt die as quickly or have the same issues.

    Partially correct. HIV converts to AIDS, however HIV itself does not kill you. The time it takes to get AIDS depends on how long it takes for the virus to be broken down (and break down) your immune system. I believe there is a drug to delay this, but I am no expert...

    Yes you have to take drug cocktails..main drug being AZT...I believe it stops reverse transcriptase...i could be wrong and would have to review some things...They are working on things now that stop the binding of HIV to the recepters on human cells...We studied HIV a bit in Immunology, I should have paid more attention.
