    Bluetooth and laptop

    I have a motorola razr phone with bluetooth, but have nooooo idea how to transfer my info from my phone to my laptop... does anyone know how this extrememly frustrating situation can be taken care of???????
    By the way, the phone does not come with a usb cable to attach to the comp... you "apparently" have to transfer info via wireless...

    cool... thx... it sucks cause the phone didn't even come with a cable and apparently they dont provide them... My lappy is only a few months old, Sony Vaio... do you know if this has infra?

    I have the same phone , you should have got a USB cable with it and a cd to load up on your PC , then once it's loaded you will have a picture of your phone on you desk top , plug your phone into the cable and away you go

    SHIT!!! I got ripped off... those asses at Rogers(canada) told me that it didn't come with a CD and cable... FAK!!! can I borrow yours'???lol/j/k... where can I get the software and cable... is the software "burnable"?

    mine came in a 10inch long chrome box that slided open , exposing the phone all cushioned in with all the extras with it , sounds to me like you were well and truely ripped off my friend , OH! abd did I mention mine was free on contract haha sorry my friend

    ya man my Razr came with the usb cables and shit. SHould have everything you need. But if you have bluetooth enabled than u can just search for devices. It should recognize that your laptop is in the area and initiate a connection. Than you can transfer. Its just like transfering between two cell phones if you have ever done that. Also if you have a usb cable for an MP3 player or digi-cam then they will fit the razr usb port perfectly and work. I interchange mine when I leave it at home or w/e, when I go to stay with my family etc.

    Btw its a sick phone eh?

    Also the software you need to transfer the files can be dl'd from a good internet site. If you have a prob getting it just pm me or w/e and I will try to e-mail it to you my Canadian brother...lol

    I have blue tooth on my lap top and my phone. I didn't know I could transfer information from one to the other. Guess I better research this valuable tool.

    I believe u have to make your laptop bluetooth enabled by purchasing a bluetooth dongle from any electronic store such as best buy or even ebay.
