Im a journeyman sheetmetal worker......i was just laid off for 9 months(working now) on the side while laid off i actually brought home more CASH per week , but you gotta factor in the benefits .

Sound like your union , so you must be in my ballpark .2 pensions , health insurance , annuities , ect .
