    Talking Who deletes their Private Messages?

    Isnt the quota like 10000? Does anyone keep them pruned or just let them fill up the quota?

    On this site it isn't even worth it to delete them. On other sites you HAVE to delete them.

    You would have to spamming to fill up 10000. Yeah, its not worth my time going thru and deleting all mine, plus some are kinda handy to have, heh

    I just finished deleting mine. I only keep a few important ones.. the general chit-chat I delete once a week. I guess I am trying to help save some room on the server for the owner.

    hee hee.. No actually I run a large number of servers myself (what I do for a living) and I always look for ways to save space and bandwidth so I just naturally do it by habit I guess.

    Well, if security is an issue, you want to delete sensitive PMs. In fact, you would not want to discuss sensitive topics via PM. Otherwise, your entire quota of PMs probably takes up about as much space as a handful of pics. If sysadmin was concerned about the space, they would reduce the number of PMs allowed. Since it is not an issue to them, it need not be an issue to you. Delete or don't delete, as you see fit.
