    Blood pressure medicine

Does anyone know if blood pressure medicine will negate any of the effects (other than hypertension) of test e?

Of course it will. I take Lotrel. bp 12/80 or better. Take a statin also for
cholesterol. Total cholesterol below 150. Got to take advantage of
    today's medicine.

I think the diuretic in blood pressue meds will actually help by reducing
water. Don't know why diuretics are in blood pressue meds but a doctor
    could explain it very easy.

The more water that there is in your blood, the harder your heart has to pump to push the blood through your vessels, thus increasing the pressure in the vessels. Diuretics increase excretion of water by changes at the kidneys (too complicated to fully explain here) and thus reduce blood pressure.

she really only wants to see my kidney function...then they start me on a diuretic tomorrow or the next day.

Diuretics will increase the water excretion of the kidneys. Excess water will cause a higher blood volume, which in turn will cause more pressure inside of your vessels. Thats why the sodium (Na) in salt can raise your BP, it helps to draw more water into the bloodstream.

We'll see how happy you are when you have to get out of bed several times during the night to piss. It's a big pain in the ass. I take lisinopril, a combo bp/diuretic. I just finished a test/deca cycle and must have pissed 10-15 times a day.

I take mine in the morning as well Bro, but still get up several times during the night.

Nothing wrong with being in happy ass moods. I'd rather be around you then some grumpy-ass people. I like to laugh and carry on.

The ACE inhibitor I take, Benicar, has been great. No sides at all from that. My cholesterol is high after a cycle, but isnt when I am off. My doc wanted me to go on it, but I declined because I see that it puts stress on the liver and can cause trouble in your skeletal muscles. I figure since I already use AAS, my liver shouldnt be put through any more stress. The muscle problem, rhabdomyosis, is rather rare but can be bad. With that youll get stiff and sore muscles, and they actually start to waste away. My father is taking a statin drug now for cholesterol, crestor I think, and is getting pains in his leg muscles.

You have that problem even after you have been off of AAS for a couple of months?

Not everyone gets sides from statins. (cholesterol drugs) Cholesterol
will clog your arteries. Vytorin reduced my total cholesterol from 247
to 140 in week or so. You can always stop.

Good point, but my cholestrol isnt high all the time. its just up when I am on cycle, and Im not on cycle all of the time. Your liver enzymes come back ok after a blood test, curious if maybe the statin might have raised the levels some?

I've had that problem since I was a kid. My dad has that problem and his dad has the same problem..
It's genetic, nothing I can do to prevent it so either I let it happen or I medicate to try and control it a bit.

Just like some people are predisposed to MalePatternBaldness.

Yeah, sounds like you got a bit unlucky. Could have been much worse though, could have been something like a heart defect.

Many ppl have medical problems and don't even know about them or never get examined by the doctor so it goes unnoticed until too late.
High cholesterol this day in age isn't too bad seeing as they have good medications out to help control it. It can lead to heart disease if left untreated and if you live an unhealthy lifestyle on top of it over time.

Sounds like its working. Once you get off it will drop down to a normal range. Feeling any sides from the beta blockers?

Yeah, I hated having that. It was really bad if you would bend over to pick up something off of the ground. Glad to hear its working good.
