Why does cat litter cost so much god damn money!!!!

My fiance has 2 kittens, I'm not the fondest of cats really. The one is kind of cool I guess but the other one is retarded. But these cats shit too much, seems like they shit about 5 times/day and they go through litter quick. So I'm the one who always gets stuck buying it. You know what, good cat litter is a rip off!!!! It's like 8 or 9 bucks for a bag of it which my cats will shit up in 2 days. So I just buy the cheap stuff, but it doesnt have good odor control or something my girl says, she gets mad when I dont egt the good stuff. I just think its ridiculous the cost it is to give your animals a place to take a shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cats are an aquired taste. I didn't know what to make of them at first either being brought up with dogs. Keep an open mind maybe they'll grow unto you.

my cat seems to shit about 5x a day as well, and he is ALWAYS trying to drink water (from faucets/bath tubs/etc) so he pisses like a racehorse as well..i use the arm and hammer litter, not too expensive, and it seems to work a little better than others...i love cats, i love their independance, and their personalities....and having a cat scores me major points w most girls
