Injection sites: traps, bi's and tri's

Has anyone hit these sites? If so what size (length) needle did you use. How well did the muslce take the shot. Will 5/8" needle work? Is 5/8" too short for shoulders. Thanks in advance.

i've used 1.5" and shot into my traps without a problem or anywhere for that fact.

Dam, 1.5" in the trap. seems excessive, could you have used 5/8" or is that too small?

5/8 is perfect for shoulders,traps, and arms and it was pretty painless

yeah i could have but i didn't have any. oh well didn't really matter went in fine.

I've hit them all with a 1" pin just fine. Traps hurt at first, but you get used to it. I've seen a lot of reasons not to inject there but I never encountered a problem outside of painful injections that would make me stop. On the other hand I don't inject traps and tri's unless I need the rotation spots.
