For a pre workout meal, an hour and a half before I workout, I usually have one 8 oz chicken breast and a serving of complex carbs (brocolli, green beans, baked beans, asparagus, brown rice, or a sweet potato).
My question is, is it ok that I cook the vegetables in the microwave? Or will doing that kill all the nutrients and vitamins?
I know it's best to steam vegetables, but is microwaving them ok?
