    to newbies from a newbie

    after reading a post by an associate member saying that they are tired of the bs and jokes,another member responded by saying that they go to sites you have to pay to be a member, because it weeds out the idiots and maybe ar should charge a fee.(its sucks that just a few idiots can **** it up for everyone).i dont think they will start charging a fee, but who am i to say ,after all ive only been a member for 2 months now,but in the 2 months ive learned more off this site than i could ever imagine.the mods and members are great.so with all that being said, from a newbie to a newbie here is some advice:A) do lots of research,most of any questions you have are already on the site.B)come here with the right attitude,be polite,dont flame people,and dont be an idiot.C)if you came here just to post jokes(although they are funny sometimes),****around,or give bad advice........GO AWAY! dont get me wrong i do enjoy the personalities on ar and enjoy peoples sense of humor. my point is with a little research,and the right attitude,you will get good advice,meet awsome members and mods,and have a source of unlimited knowledge.

    still.........i dont think you should have pay to become a member of the board.............i think that would shy alot of people away even if they were knowledgable and had alot of advice......
