    Somas and bodybuilding/AS

Hey bros, just wondering if anyone has information on the effects (whether positive or negative) that taking a muscle relaxer (i think it's a muscle relaxer) Soma would have on making gains in the gym while either on or off AS. I've got a bad case of TMJ that only a muscle relaxer such as Soma, which I'm currenty being prescribed, can curb. I'm just wondering what, if any, would be the detrimental effects taking such a drug would have on buiding muscle. For drug information and molecular breakdown, please check out the following link:

Carasiprodal is a great drug especially when you have trouble sleeping.

if this gets outa hand it will be closed, if you're not using them for medical reason, you're using them as a recreational drug and that is break the rules here to discuss rec drugs.

I dont think it would take anything away from muscle building. Just dont get carried away with those. Pain killers are addictive as hell

personally I hate muscle relaxers and workin out. makes it real hard to concentrate on what you are supposed to be hitting. In your case though... not sure it can be avoided eh? good luck

Johnny, not really sure how you interpereted my use of muscle relaxers as "recreational". As I stated in my post, I have severe TMJ, muscle relaxers were prescribed to remedy that legally.

On to the matter at hand, working out while under the effects of muscle relaxers (particularly somas) is absolutely rediculous. I couldn't even put up the weight I had done the previous week, sometimes I had to take it down a few pegs just to bust a good set. I felt like I wasted my entire day. I pretty much ruled out any other possibilities, I have been eating perfectly, was well rested, have been taking my shots on schedule... I mean I've had bad days at the gym, but the worst Ive ever experienced while on AS was not being able to increase the weight from the previous week... so allow me to set the record straight for anyone who is wondering, WORKING OUT WHILE ON MUSCLE RELAXERS IS A HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE IDEA!!! I mean its not like I popped a soma right before I went to the gym, there was a good 5 or 6 hour buffer zone between the time I took it and when I worked out. I can't say objectively whether it will affect a person who takes them, say after their workout or any other times they are not due to hit up the gym, but I'm not even going to fvck with it. Today was a waste and I never want to experience that again. At least I can sell off the rest of the prescription and maybe get some more AS...
