Do not take duta and fina at the same time, this is a big no no and is stated by many doctors and pharmacists. Take one or the other. I personally like to see people start with 1mg proscar daily and only switch to avodart/duta if they don't like the resutls after 12 months. It takes a long time to see cosmetic results of mutliple hair growth cycles. Proscar has 10 year large safety studies, avodart just came out 4 years ago. Many people are happy with proscar, no need to go with anything stronger and more risky if you like the results.

Use minoxidil and nizoral shampoo as well and you will have even better results since they work in different ways.

Yes, it works through a different methosd than both minoxidil and a dht blocker. There have been a few small studies that show it increases the diameter of hair follicale, giving more coverage. It is the weakest of the 3 proven treatments but does some good. Best to use a dht blocker, minoxidil 5%, and nizoral to see the best results. All three are proven to work trhough scientific studies.

Nizoral 1% Study Shows Benefits for Androgenetic Alopecia

March 04, 2001 - American Academy of Dermatology Meeting - Washington DC - Scientists working for McNeil, makers of Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo, presented the findings of a study done on 1% Nizoral shampoo which has good news for hair loss sufferers. It has long been known that 2% prescription Nizoral has beneficial effects on Androgenic Alopecia (MPB). It however has been unclear whether the same benefits can be obtained by using the non-prescription 1% version.
In the study presented (see below), one hundred male volunteers with mild to moderate dandruff and somewhat oily scalp, were using, in a double-blind fashion, either a 1% Nizoral shampoo or a 1% zinc pyrithione shampoo, 2-3 times a week for 6 months.

Analysis of the different parameters set up in the study shows that the hair diameter gradually increased with Nizoral use (+8.46%) over a 6 month period, whereas the diameter showed a trend to decrease with zinc pyrithione use over the same period (-2.28%). The sebum excretion rate was reduced with Nizoral (-6.54%) while it increased with zinc pyrithione (+8.2%) over the same period of time. The number of hair shed over a 24-hour period was reduced by 16.46% with Nizoral and 6.02% with zinc pyrithione after 6 months. Finally, the percentage hairs in anagen phase increased by 6.4% and 8.4% respectively during the study time.

The results are similar to a previous study done on 2% prescription strength Nizoral where it was shown that use of 2% Nizoral yielded a 7% average increase in hair shaft diameter similar to what was achieved by the control group using 2% Minoxidil and a non-medicated shampoo.

So for any hair loss sufferer, this research clearly indicates that using 1% or 2% Nizoral 2-3 times per week, will have positive effects on hair growth as well as controlling dandruff. It is still unclear at this time whether it's the anti-fungal properties or the anti-androgenic properties of Ketokonazole (active ingredient in Nizoral) thats responsible for the hair thickening effects, however because of the decrease in sebum rates as well, it is the authors opinion that the results are due to the anti-androgenic properties of Ketokonazole.

Myth about what side of the family it comes from, it can come from either side.

I have heard mixed reviews on this, something about it blocking the pathway of deca converting to DHN. I have not looked into it closely. When I started researching gear I put anything I thought I might have a problem with (as far as hair) on the Sh*t list. Only have experience with test, dbol, EQ, and anavar.

Sorry I can't be of more help in relation to deca.

I heard one guy on here say that he had run a 500mg deca and 750mg test I think it was, and he had used Dutasteride with it without problems. Then I don't really know if he had hairloss problems at all. I might be the labrat for this one through the rest of my cycle then.

    Chest -

I have the same problem, no MPB history but my hair sometimes falls out like crazy, sometimes more than others, but always falls. Funny thing is that it doesn't get worse while on cycle, or noticeably better when taking finasteride or minoxidil, which led me to believe it was something else.

I was talking to a doc about it and he said it could be some kind of hormonal imbalance, even high estrogen in some people might make their hair fall.

Just a FYI, so you know that sometimes it is not really MPB, but something else that is ****ed up in your body, usually some hormonal shit, which is "normal" after you mess with gear

When you wash your hair and there is a bunch of hair on your hands... When you wake up in the morning and there is hair on your pillow... When you see somewhat 'thinner' spots on your head that were not that way before... If you have family history... So many things bro, but trust me if you are prone you will know!!
