I want to keep a good rotation but the shot I have to do is 2.5 ccs. Is this too much for my delt or do you think that I will be fine?

If you have decent sized delts you'll be fine.I can dump 3cc in my medial head,no sweat.Originally Posted by ryan9101
Otherwise, split the shot up.You can hit the anterior head as well as the posterior head, you know. That's 6 shots for the delts alone....

i personally wouldnt. but its up to you if you think you can handle it.
whats the worst that can happen if you inject to many cc's into a muscle?
the general rule, according to medical books, is 1-2 ccs in delt and up to 3 ccs in larger muscles such as the dorsoglueteal and vastus lateralis (thigh). But, I would have to agree w/ Pinnacle, if you have large delts I'd go for it.
not the worst but most likely hurt like a mofo for a whilewhats the worst that can happen if you inject to many cc's into a muscle?
What do you mean by anterior and posterior head? Please elaborate as I along with others would probably like to know how to split in one delt, in case they missed an injection.
The delts consist of three muscle heads. The front being the anterior, middle being the medial head and lastly the posterior or rear head. The red on the left delt in this illustration shows the medial head.Below that is the rear posterior head. Not the greatest picture.Look at an anatomy chart, you'll get a better ideaOriginally Posted by usamm

Thanks man, great information to have.
most i've ever done was 2cc's in the delt and i was fine. just inject slow and massage for a while afterward, moving the oil around.
Good idea with the massaging.![]()
Ahh I did it no problem. Ill let you know how it feels tommorow. Thanks for the good advice Pinn!
i run 3cc shots into my delts all the time. But as pin said you need to have pretty good size shoulders.
Yea I would say my shoulders are pretty big, they seem to blow up quicker than everything else for some reason.
That's fine.
