Thanks to those of you who stopped by to say Welcome.
I have been reading a lot in here for a few days and obviously there is too much info to process in just one go. Some people know what they are talking about and some seem to be making things up on the way.
I have been training for a few years. I am 32 at the mo, started when i was 20 on and off but began seriously when i was 27. (that means paying a bit more attention to the diet and so on). It took me a while to have a look at other things other than hit the gym every other day. For instance, to date I have never measured my body fat or the size of my biceps, ....the mirror is the way i see my progress. I still take this as a way of life more than a hobby so I do pay attention to diet. I still would like to compete one day, was once offered by a gym owner to get me ready for it but it didn't happen in the end.
I am sure I will get some very good advice from most of you.
    Cheers
