It won't really make much difference size wise.

make you fat hard to bulk for muscle with slin
slin is very anabolic if used corerectly alongside t3 etc, if you are gaining unwanted fat you are simply timing meals wrong imo,Originally Posted by yom

i agree it is over rated, i mainly use between cycles as a bridge which works well for me, however i feel if you have not tried it its hard to comment, thats whi i never comment on igf , never used it,Originally Posted by goose4
Slin is anabolic - you are using the power of insulin when you use simple carb/pro drinks post workout (generating slin to shuttle the nutrients)... or when you keep fats away from carbs to avoid accumulating bodyfat (manipulating insulin's effect)... how can you be so against exogenous use when you have never tried it - let alone, tried it in an effective training and diet plan... ?Originally Posted by goose4
I have spoken to many top dogs in UK,just go to avant forum and speak to Hooker about slin,he tried it once, never again he told me.I research very hard, unfortantly we don`t have many advanced Theorists in this specific forum. My words are aggressive, however,I believe in my ideology,as stated,if you compete it is an important tool.Slin is the most anabolic hormone in our body but it means jack shit.Methyltrienolone is the most powerful androgen yet it will yeild great results.I`m not saying it is useless,I would say all pro`s use it,but I have been very lucky in meeting a few extremely experienced bodybuilders to give me the reality of Slin, the choice is yours.....I`m here to give you the flip side to the coin...

Hooker isn't exactly a big dude... so even though he has tried it - it doesn't look like too much of anything has "worked" for him... no insult - JMHO... I know he has studied a lot into PED's and sports - so I'll take his word of caution for what it's worth...
I might give it a whirl either to speed up carb loads in a CKD or in my next strength cycle...
To be honest warrior, knowing myself I would not be surprised in the furture (a number of years) to give it a whirl too,has to be done, but I`m not expecting anything dramatic,I think that`s the key.

Insulin shuttles nutrients into cells faster than usual, it also allows your body to absorb more nutrients than usual. After a while of doing this, the "extra" absorbed nutrients do add up and end up causing weight/strength gain. This obviously doesn't happen right away, that is why most don't feel much from a typical 4 week cycle. But after a quite a few cycles, I'm sure there would be a difference. Insulin isn't a major compound to rely on. I use it for additional benefits only because I know it won't bring major gains right away.

I tend to agree with you. Personally I think it's pretty crazy to be injecting insulin if you're not a diabetic anyway. You're drastically increasing your chances of developing diabetes later in life. And diabetes sucks (I can tell you from experience, granted I have a different form than typically shows up in adults).Originally Posted by goose4
Yes, this hormone is over-rated, and yes, insulin does nothing for size or strength, I have always agreed to that and always will. But I will disagree with anyone that says "recovery" isn't important when it comes to bodybuilding. Recovery is the time when you gain, and insulin seems to be the perfect compound if you want to boost your recovery. Insulin may not bring immidiate results in terms of size, strength etc, but it actually is very beneficial in terms of recovery. There is proof that insulin shuttles nutrients into cells faster and allows your body to absorb more nutrients than usual, the graph (proof) was posted by Einsteain I believe, it could have been a few years ago but I'm sure it's still around. If I happen to come across it, I will post it on here. Alt it can be searched for.

Bro, we are not supposed be injecting anything lol. Not just insulin. If that's the case then nobody should inject testosterone, GH, insulin or whatever else people use to give them selves a boost. It's all bad for us.Originally Posted by Yellowknifer

- its all about the safest way to do it - thats what we do here... some foreign substances should be forbidden (like DNP, in my opinion)... but from my research so far - exogenous insulin can be ran without f'ing up your pancreas...
I am also under the impression you can use slin safely without doing any serious damage.Originally Posted by Warrior

Short but big, if the stats are true.
Not from the pic floating around of him on Lyle McDonlad's forums... not sure if he wants me posting it here... it's of him and Alwyn Cosgrove sitting in a chair... Cosgrove discussing his issues with cancer.Originally Posted by Logan13

I think the problem is that people expect too much from using slin. I do think that it is a bit hyped up b/c I always here people say "Slin makes you HUUUUUUUGE." Obviously those are the people that have never taken it.
I dont see tremendous immediate results but over time it does make a difference, at least with my experience..........
