    Infection

For some reason every time i inject test prop the area gets red and warm to the touch, i get a fever and chills...this time i went to my doc and he told me that i have a cellulitus infection "flesh eating bacteria" lol not very cool. Im on anti-biotics now and still feel like shit. Why does this happen could i be allregic to prop or someting. I know the gear is sterile!

Could be a few reasons. Your area wasn't clean when you injected. The Gear was not clean..

sounds like a high BA content. Is your gear homemade? Do you know what the BA percent is in your gear? If you make your own I would go with 2% BA from now on. Some people are sensitive with test prop. For me the first few shots are a bit painful then after a bit they don't even feel like anything. If you want to you can dillute your prop with sterile oil or B12 and see if that will make a difference.

I had a friend die of flesh eating bacteria. Threw up blood went to hospital
went into coma dead in 3 days. Honolulu, Hawaii. If you got Group A Strep
you got worse problems than bad stuff. Nobody even knows how Group A strep is spread. They burn down houses where people that had this died.
You better learn the difference between allergic reactions and bacteria real fast.

Did the doc actually test it for infection, or did he just guess that it was an infection and prescribe an antibiotic? May sound stupid, but if you are getting this every time it sounds more to me just like an irritation from the prop than an actual infection.

velvetlion has a good point. doctors are similar to mechanics. if you have a problem, they can tell you what it most likely is, but it's innevitable that sometimes you will be misdiagnosed and proper treatment isn't administrated. the biggest problem is that a doctor will rarely (if ever) tell you "this is what it most likely is, so lets try to treat this first". also, did you tell your doctor about your injections, or leave him blind and ask him what's wrong?

how is it that an "allergic reaction" would cause a flesh eating bacteria? i don't see how that could be physically possible. my advice is if this is the only kind of gear you have these problems with, just avoid it. there's plenty of other things to choose from out there.

It is red and warm arround the site...i injected last monday (1 week ago) and every day it has gotten worse with a fever, aches, ....ect! I understand that alot of people get sore from prop but this is not normal lolol!

Ufa, u had a friend die from a cellulitius infection or someting else? Cellulitius can be caused by Strep (Group A Streptococcus) but most of the time it isnt that serious and can be killed with antibiotics. This can get worse if you dont do anything about it and the bacteria enters ur bloodstream, this is what may have happened to ur friend! Either way im sorry to hear that!

under the circumstances, what the doctor may have been doing is trying to scare you away from gear by telling you it was a "flesh-eating bacteria", when in truth it's just an every day run of the mill infection. from what it seems though, the infection was most likely caused because your body reacts negatively to this stuff.

another thing to think about is that if your body reacts that bad to gear (swelling, redness, and feelings of sickness), it's most likely not utilizing much (if any) of it because it's just focusing on getting it out of your system. if anything, you might even hurt your cycle cause you'll lower your immune system as your body fights something it doesn't need to.
