Ways to Run T3 - Little success so far here

I know this subject has many different schools of thought. I have been trying to research more thouroughly, but my search feature is no longer hitting on anythig with "T3" in it.

I know some like tapering up, holding at about 125 mcg per day, and then tapering down. I am currently trying the following different method. I would appreciate it if a Mod, Vet, ot anyone else with T3 success would comment on this. I have seen moderate improvment, but not nearly what I expected. I think any fat loss and toning that has occured is due to my diet, training regiment, and my cycle (test Cyp, EQ, and Var).
    I started at about 19% bodyfat and now I am maybe 17.5%. I'm 6'1 249 lbs
I'm relatively defined everywhere except my lower abs, obliques/love handles' and hip areas. When I have a weight belt on you'd think i was under 10% bf because it hides my fat deposits.

I have been runnig this for about 2-3 weeks. I am using the ARR oral T3 also.
    [

    T3 -
    Day 1 - 200 mcg
    Day 2 - 200 mcg
    Day 3 - 200 mcg
    Day 4 - 200 mcg
    Day 5 - 200 mcg
    Day 6 - 100 mcg
    Day 7 - 50 mcg

    5 day break

    Repeat

My core temp is about 97.1 degrees avg. 98.5 highest ever - even when running 200 mcg. WTF?

    Blown SC, MAllet, Cutting-King, anybody?
I've read all your threads and posts. I decided to go with Mallet's after I had little success with CyCleon's. My core temp was only 96.7 at 125 mcg. I run cooler than most people I guess.

And before anyone asks, yes, my diet and cardio are great.

just wondering, why did you include a 5 day break off the t3? ive used it before, but i havent heard of breaking...i thought you were just supposed to taper up then taper down even slower? id stay on it because t3 can help your protein synthesis and make you more efficient at gaining some mass with those anabolics youre on...

I believe Mallet said he spoke with an Endo who said this would be the best method for thyroid health and effectivness. I'll have to search for the thread later.

There are mixed theories on the tapering. Some think it just gives your thyroid less time to recover.

T3 can be catabolic and actually burn muscle as well as fat if you don;t run an anabolic with it. What makes you think it will help gain mass?

"T3 will increase your body’s ability to synthesize protein"...from T3 profile...therefore as long as youre on anabolics and getting your protein, you could see some gains during this cutting cycle

OK... I see this thread got a lot of reads, but not a lot of responses. T-3 seems to be one of the few coupounds that people are afraid to post on.

Anyone comment on the above method?

ive used t3 and t4 many times and you have to keep playing around with the dose until your body responds correctly, when using high dose androgens it pushes t3 levels down so getting the right amount required for your body requires some experience with dosages.

If t3 taken at to much of a high dose it can be very catabolic and will eat away at your muscle mass, ive always had to get the right level for the individual its not the same for everybody, ive know BB's to get blood work done to detirmine the optimal dose to bring you up to the optimum range which i feel is far better than just taking your temp.

Ive tapered the dose with 5-7 days off in between with great success, and ive always taken a low dose when am using HGH, the only method i didnt personaly like was using t3 for a few weeks without any breaks, i feel getting the dose right for your own body is the most important thing you can do for good fat loss and the least muscle loss, if you arent getting results play around with the dose until you start to see them.

Nowadays i dont use it to often unless am on GH, i play around with my diet and carbs to reduce my BF,i get huge success with this and my Bf is always quite low, diet is the key to fat loss and when you hit it just right you will look like you have been carved out of stone..

    Great response Marcus. Thanks.

I've been eating like a maniac throughout the day, especially during the 200mcg days. Mainly tuna wraps with egg whites. I don;t know if you've ever heard of MTO's from Sheetz, but that's all I've been eating periodically throughout the day. I fugure the pita wrap gives me the carbs I need and the tuna, vegies, and eggwhites are a good balanced small meal.

My physique is changing, and I feel great. My upper body and legs are getting harder, fuller, and more defined, but this may be from the gear. I was just hoping to finally burn off those damn love-handles.

    Again, thanks for the reply.

Hey Max5. You might want to drop your carbs a little more.

My diet is probably 60% protein, 25% carbs, 15% fats/sugars including fructose.

Most of my cards are breakfast and mid-day meals, mainly from pita wraps.

Yesterday I was on day 6 of the 7 day T-3 cycle and my appetite finally started kicking into 5th gear. Hopefully this means my body is finally burning more energy.

Wait, I guess fructose/sugars are actually carbs.

Man, IMO your carbs should only be in the morning and low GI carbs like whole oats at that. No freaking suger or flour (wraps) of any kind man, unless you are needing it with slin.

The only sugar I get is from blueberries and blackberries and yogurt.
I don't eat these everyday. They cost more than gear this time of year.
I'll try oatmeal in the morning and I'll throw the pita away from now on and get my carbs elsewhere.

    Any ideas about the T-3?

I ususally do 20-45 min a day walking incline on treadmill after workouts. I've been lifting 6 days a week really hard, so some days I just gon;t have any gas left after to do it.
