    14+ week cycles, question....

OK, at 12 weeks, yer shut down right? Now why is it generally not a good idea to run the cycle for another.....lets say 4 weeks? How is it harder to PCT after 16 weeks than it is 12 weeks? I know it differs from person to person as far as how well/quickly one recovers but, generally speaking. What specific reasoning is behind the idea that "Most cycles should be ran no more than 12 weeks" (Which is what I have become familiar with for some reason).

I am talking about a simple test only cycle basically.

the longer you're shut the longer its going to take to recover.
the human body likes homeostatis.. (spelled wrong) anyways, human body hates change.

so once u're shut down, the longer it gets used to that state, the harder it will be to get it snap out of it.

thats why we run PCT... PCT buys us time to recover, so if u ran a 16week u should run PCT for twice as long perhaps than if it were an 8 weeker.. and than you should stay off for another 16-20 weeks... get your body used to producing by itself as its normal state.

In other words the longer u run a cycle the longer its gonna take to revive your HTPA.

Most people keep them shorter because gains tend to slow down the longer you go if you just stick to one compound.
Personally i'm more of a fan of the longer cycle and switching up compounds rather the short cycles a lot of people seem to advocate lately. Mind you I wouldn't run the extremely high doses that seem to be involved with them anyways, but the way I look at why change what works for me.
