    Need to gain weight / be healthy

    What's up everyone.

    I'm going to be honest with you guys, for the last 5 years I have been a serious pot head and I did nothing but smoke pot all day and do nothing.

    During the last two years, I was probably eating one or two meals a day. And they weren't healthy meals at that.

    I'm now 26, 5'7" and a 113 pounds.

    For the last 6 months I have quit smoking pot and I'm determined to gain weight and be healthy and start lifting weights (not to get huge, just to feel better about myself and be healthy).

    Since I've quit smoking pot I've more then doubled my food intake but I haven't gained much weight, it's probably because it's all junk food (fast food and pizza).

    I've started taking *******s n-large2 and it's actually made me put on a few pounds in the last few weeks.

    I know I need to have a better diet and eat more. The shakes won't do it alone.

    I was wondering if someone could possibly help me out with an ideal diet plan?

    Man dude. I smoke pot everyday. It doesnt make me wanna sit on my ass and do nothing. I have all the energy in the world. Eating healthy is not rocket science. Chicken, steak, taters, veggies, eggs.. If you ate 4 good meals including all of the above, at your weight, youll gain like a bastard. Just eat as much as you can a day. Not shit like pizza and chips. Youll have to work out at a gym. You need to be able to distibute those calories evenly instead of just letting em make you fat. Foods high in protein are good. Protein builds muscle.

    Thanks, well it made me lazy and it ruined my appetite for some reason. I was probably lacking engery due to not eating properly. I feel a lot better since I've stopped smoking pot though. Also I'm about to buy some free weights for the garage (Bench Press, Curl Bench and a Dumbbell Rack) to start.

    113 lbs...damn it seems like that was my weight in 4th grade..jk

    but honostly, like some other bros said, meat and potatoes, peanut butter, and good fats will shoot your weight through the roof!
