ACNE, is it from DHT or estrogen?

then why are people getting acne from clomid?

Not positive but i would tend to guess it allows more free test by blocking estrogen and therfore, more free test=greater chance for DHT conversion...right????

that would seem the case with an AI, but with a SERM we are just blocking the estrogen.

thats what i said bro..Estrogen in essence, blocks and kills test right...???so once it is blocked, it frees up more test, and more test=greater chance of DHT conversion...even though it is a SERM???

Test is the only anabolic that converts to DHT. For those who are prone, Test is the main cause of acne.

Conversion to estrogen, and high androgenic activity, can also trigger acne.

I've always had Bacne. For the last 6 months I've been on dutasteride and if anything it's gotten worse.

Just started a test cyp,npp,anavar cycle 2.5 weeks ago with 1mg of arimidex/day. My back and shoulders are probably 80% clear!

With the dutasteride I can rule out DHT as the cause.
I've only been using the arimidex for 2.5 weeks and have seen a major improvement, so for me, I would have to say it was caused by estrogen.

I agree.

Acne is most often a result from exess estrogen, but also high androgenic-levels in the blood.
