Aspiration question! Please help!

Hey bros, just got a question i been wondering about.... I always aspirate...but I been curious, its bad to inject air into your body, but when you aspirate and air comes into the needle, why isnt that considered bad? Because its comming straihgt from your body???? Just curious..thanks

when injecting into a muscle you can inject all the air you want and still not die

when injecting into a vein you can still inject quite a bit of air without dieing

I would not recommend that you inject ANY air, but people often over react to the outcome if you where in fact to inject a bubble.

yeah all i was askin was, when u pull out when ur aspirtaing, ur obviously spose to look for air comming in the needle as a good sign...but why is that..its still air

You are injecting into a muscle, so a little air is not going to hurt you. It is when you inject air into a vein that is dangerous.

you are actually only making sure that your not in a vein.
the air you see is already there it just expands when you aspirate due to the vacuum created by the plunger being reversed

Air is a problem only when there is a lot of it (about a water glass full [200cl]will kill you) or it is dirty [you sneezed or are in a sewer].

You are pushing a tiny amount of air into your body by aspirating. Don't believe me. Take a syringe, draw as much water as you do air when you aspirate and then squirt it onto the table in front of you, it will be hard to find.
