your diet looks pretty on key. could make some small adjustments, but all in all it's looking good. i would toss the canola oil though and stick with olive and grapeseed oil.

one other thing as well, i know you're looking for critique on your diet, but when i saw you're planning on taking letro on your cycle, i just had to say something. that's a very powerful anti-e, and i would strongly advise against taking that during your cycle.

letro is typically reserved for use with gyno issues and is not a good call for an anti-e during a cycle due to it's strength. the excessive suppresion of estrogen it will give you will hinder your gains, quite dramatically in my experience (not with letro, but with other anti-e's during cycles). a better choice would be aromasin or arimidex if you're truly concerned about gyno.

if i were you though, since anti-e's do reduce a cycles effectiveness, since you're not going above a gram a day of test, i'd just take the test and keep the anti-e handy and if you get the slightest bit of soreness in the nips, then start the anti-e. good luck on your first cycle man and enjoy.

to save me the time of explaining it all, i found a website that gives a glimpse as to some of the many issues with canola. sad thing is, it took me literally 5 seconds to find this site. not sure how good it is cause i didn't read it all, but i noticed it pointed out one of the bigger issues with canola oil. here's the link: http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/canola.htm

other reasons for grapeseed and olive oil (extra virgin is best) is that they contain healthy fatty acids, which are great for the body as well. i personally prefer grapeseed since it burns at a much higher temperature, so if i'm pan-frying some chicken in a little oil, i can cook faster with the grapeseed without concerns for the oil smoking and burning up.

one thing i found on another website which i found quite amusing (and stupid) was someone trying to discredit the claims of canola oil being bad for you. the quote i found most amusing: "In China, rapeseed oil cooked at very high temperatures was found to give off toxic emissions. In the U.S., the combination of refined oils, added antioxidants, and lower cooking temperatures prevents this from occurring.". Now, they say "lower cooking temperatures" is one of the things preventing toxic emissions from the oil. Now who the hell is sitting there while you're cooking the oil telling you "the temp is too high, turn it down before you get toxic fumes now"?! Also, I don't know about you guys, but who wants to cook their food in something that if it becomes a vapor, becomes highly toxic?!

Though you'll find people who have financial interest in keeping canola oil on the market trying to discredit the negative claims, you'll find many credible references talking about the health risks of canola oil. Just like some people still support aspartame, if there's that much negative publicity about something out there, I'd suggest you stay away from it, cause there's gotta be some reasoning behind all the negative publicity.

about the oils extra virgin is what you want high in EFAs and DHAs, but nothing beats flax oil. It has the right mixture of ***** 3 and 6's but olive oil is I feel second best, but still very good

agreed, but flax oil is also a lot more expensive, hence why most choose olive oil. if you have the extra dough though, i'd say flax oil would be the preferred choice of those two.

grapeseed oil, though i don't believe is as good as flax, is superior nutritionally to extra virgin olive oil. not sure by how much, but any of these 3 are a very good choice regardless.

for a little extra flavor, you can add in dressings with olive or grapeseed oils in them as well. i like to do this personally so my meals aren't so bland. i'd recommend a health food store to find most the better brands of dressings.

I'd check out the stickies atop the page depending on what your goals are as you didn't state that.

Lots of areas in which to improve, and get your diet nailed down first before you introduce exogenous supplementation.
