    Question Cytomel... Long Term Use?

    Ok... i know cytomel can be used for long term use and your thyroid will go back to normal in months... but what is the dosage if u were to do the long term use of cytomel.. i usually do it in 6 week cycles ..

    When I run GH for extended periods of time I use 25mcg/day in the morning. Had BW done after 7months of this and came back fine. thyroxine levels check out good.

    i was going to run it all throught the spring and summer.. at 25-50 mcg... a day... with all my cycles.. i have a ton of cytomel and i figure i need to use it.. plus i read that t3 when used with ur cycles.. makes them work better.. i dont know.. lol

    I know Tren and GH mess with your thyroxine levels. I deff wouldn't run T3 at any dose without anabolics or GH in my system because of catabolism. Otherwise you should be ok, just keep an eye on it and if you start to lose LBM then drop the dosage.

    cool thanks... ive never ran any GH.. sounds like there is to much involved with the insulin and all that jazz.. sorta scared of insulin

    With enough research it's a great addition to the arsenal. Expensive but worth it IMO. Slin isn't scary unless you're uneducated and careless on how to use it.

    You should prob have your t-3, t-4, and TSH levels checked before doing long term use of cytomel. You could possibly throw off your natural balance of t-3 by taking it long term if your t-3 levels are in the normal ranges. My wife is on T-4 50mcg ed, but this is because her free t-4 is below the low end of what is considered normal. If you are going to run them only thru spring and summer i don't see a long-term problem if you are going to run a low dosage. Are we talking like 3-4months?

    So... let me get this straight ... 1-2 pills 25mcg of cytomel a day is ok.. for the spring and summer as long as im using some kind of AAS? i know i need to take something..most likely test..

    Yes run it with an anabolic. Your body produces around 12-15mcg/day I believe so 25 is a very low dose and 50 is considered on the lowside as well. Try good diet and cardio, does wonders.
    Btw I'd be more scared of T3 than slin anyday.

    In the research i came across.. T3 will not suppress ur thyroid funtion for life.. just for a short time and it will come back.. so thats when clen comes in.. cytomel upgrades ur receptors anyways.. so taking clen wouldnt be a bad idea during the off months

    I've heard T3/Clen is a good combo for fatloss, fortunently I've not ever had a problem with fat and I don't like Clen. Yes, I've read numerous places that supplementing T3 at smaller dosages causes no longterm harm on your thyroid function.

    i dont really know what cycles im going to do right yet.. but i do know cytomel will be used through the spring and summer.. i have a boat load of shit and i have to see what would be best.. what do u suggest while doing cytomel.. ?

    I know you asked Livinitup but I wanted to start a thread on this also..so ill just post it here instead..I got t3 and clen...120cc's of tren 75mg...60cc's of winny50mg...100winny tab 50mg...and 80 cc of EQ 200mg...do you think i should take t3 with this...or do u think i will lose to much muscle in it? my stats are 5'9 220...goal is to get a little bigger..and get shredded for summer...lots of cycle experience

    25 - 50 mcg daily of t3 is quite a low dose although it is good to show some caution if you are a 1st time user however listen to your body and up the dosage as neccessary. I don't seem to get much of any effect below 100mcg daily. Then again for a long term cyle maybe this wouldn't be advised

    Do you realize your body doesn't even produce 25mcg/day. 100mcg/day would not be a wise choice for longterm.

    Thats why the last part of my post adds that it may not be suitable for longer cycles but as far as i can see there is no mention from the guy that started the thread about how long he was considering using for so what defines a "long cycle"?
    Is there any evidence to say that high amounts over extended peroids are damaging to health? Not questioning anyone but if there are any trials that have results we can look at it would be better than us giving educated guesses and i know i'd be interested to see

    Muscle loss would certainly be a concern if runnning through your off period although i imagine this could be minimised to a certain extent by taking with clen, although i won't go into that because i think there are currently about 3 different clen/t3 threads currently on the board looking at this.
    Also from what i understand muscle loss on T3 would only be due to lack of protein in the diet. Because the t3 increases protein synthesis, protein intake has to be increased or results in breakdown of muscle for protein stores.

    Found this on the main site..... claims taking T3 for long periods is ok... if i do decide to take through out the summer and spring.. ill stay at 50mcg or 75mcg and come off with the thyroid PCT.. first cycle will be Tren E EQ Test E.. and cytomel .. woohoo cant wait
