well, i've had problems with my rotator cuffs ever since i first started working out, which was when i was 14. so, doesn't seem like the injury will heal itself, and am looking to see if i can do anything to help it.
the biggest thing i notice with my rotator cuffs is if i lift my arms overhead and bring them down to my sides with my elbows bent (like when you come down on a shoulder press), they pop at a specific point on the way down, pretty much when the elbows come about 3-4 inches below my shoulders. if i lift the arms overhead arms straight though and bring them down without bending the elbows, they don't do it nearly as much.
does anyone know specifically where the problem is in my rotator cuff based on this info and what excercises or stretches might help it? i've tried numerous rotator cuff strengthening excercises and they didn't help. also tried a few different stretching techniques and they actually seemed to aggravate it more than anything else. anyway, if anyone can help me out who knows this specific injury or has had it and found a way to correct it (without surgery), i'd really appreciate it. thanks.
