Hey bros. New to the forum and wanted some to see if anything could be done to my current diet or if im on the right track. Im 20 6'1'' 220 and been training for about 5 years starting at 140. Not shore what bf% is but I have slight visibilty in abs and vascularity through out my body. I was stuck on the more food is better attitude ''bulking eating everything in sight diet as we all went through" but came to realize very quickly that eating cleaner not only gave me better results but also kept me leaner which led to less muscle tissue loss while cutting. I just recently switched around my diet and really got back into it and im actually losing fat but maintaining my body weight. I just want to make sure im on the right tracking to gaining as much lean weight as possible.
Anyways here it goes:
Meal 1- pro/carb
2 whole wheat bagels
2 cups of liquid egg whites
multivitamin complex
Meal 2- pro/fat
2 cans of tuna
3 tsp flax oil
veggies
Meal 3- pro/fat
8 oz extra lean ground beef
2 slices of american cheese
veggies
Meal 4- pro/carb
1 cup of brown rice
8 oz chicken breats
WORKOUT
Meal 5- pwo shake
40 grams whey
80 grams dextrose
Meal 6- pro/carb
2 whole wheat bagels
2 cans tuna
Meal 7- pro/fat
8 oz. extra lean ground beef
2 slices of american cheese
It comes to about a total of 450 grams protein/ 330 grams carbs not including veggies/ 50 grams of fat total "not including pwo shake".
Nonworkout days meals 1 and 4 are pro/carb and meals 2,3,5, and 6 are pro/fat.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks bros.
