friend ever put a price tag on your friendship?

well i may be wrong, as i dont think either is totally right in the situation. theres alot more details then i will post it would just take a while. i wont even sugar coat it to make me loook like the better guy which i prolly can.

to make it as short as possible, my boy and i have a deal worked out and he owes me $200 and is refusing to pay me. he has never really had a job, always to lazy. a couple years ago i learned a way to make quite a bit of easy money on the internet. well i did and i introduced it to him. to make it really short, you have to pay taxes on the money and take care of it yourself. well i screwed up and didnt save quite as much as i shoulda for these taxes. i end up owing the irs quite a bit of mula. soo i got out of the plan. he is still to the day doing it and generates between 1400 and 2000 a week.

in order to make this money you need a very good computer. he has bills to so he never wanted to go out and spend 1k on a good computer that is compatable. so we came to an agreement since i was out that he would rent my computer and pay me $100 a week while he had it. this computer would approx make him about $800-1200 a week.

now its been a few months later and i find it harder and harder everyweek to track him down looking for my money, he is a week behind and is still complaining about meeting up with me. so i was like look lets just end it there. ill take back the computer, just give me my 200 you owe. he sent me a message and was like, F it dude im not paying you the 200. said i can come get the computer if i wanted to but since hes already paid out at least 3 times the value of the computer that he shouldnt have to come through. sooo im reallly pissed at him right now. i just feel that deal was a deal, pay your debt and move on if its a problem. if you dont like the deal you can end it at any time........ any advice?

For some reason I don't really think a computer is involved but used as a prop in the situation. Either way, take back what is yours as he is breaking the deal he agreed on with you. Cut his throat (not literally) and his income and leave him to bleed out and think about how he didn't keep his end of the bargain.

There are alot of similarities between your story and something that happened to me a couple of months back. Without going too much into specifics I too showed a friend a way to invest and double his money and I was to get a cut of goods equivalent to 10% of profit.
I was happy with the deal, he was happy with the deal, that is until the point came when he had to cough up. I had to get reasonably unpleasant with him and point out how easily I could pull the rug from under his little enterprise until he eventually gave me most of what I was owed.
As far as I am concerned he demonstrated to me that money was more important than our friendship so I have no interest in ever speaking to the cunt again.

He is no longer your friend, get your computer back and then if he really is not going to pay you what he owes then fuck his operation up, that's what I would do in a heartbeat, I got the majority of what I was owed and I am still tempted to fuck up my ex-buddy's enterprise 'cause I know that his intention was to rip me off.

yep, **** him mate, thats his attitude towards you, so why should you help him out? on a side note, i do think charging him $100 per week for the usage of your computer is a high price, but, if he is making that much money from it, then he shouldnt have a problem paying up. take your computer back and let him sweat

Yes but if $100 per week is too much then he should not have agreed to it in the first place.
