    Running

Hi guys. I hope you are not going to kick me in the nuts seeing that this forum is not dedicated for running but hell, I'm going to post in any case. My brother runs about 75 miles per week. He tends to get cramps cramping his performance. He is doing a 62 mile race in a month's time. What do you suggest him using to minimize this problem?

How is his diet, is he hydrated, properly rested?

Yeah I would most likely attribute it to dehydration? Following JSN where does he get his cramps?

eff yeah man so true. i can't believe that people do marathons much less 50+ and 100+ races. the guys who run 5k's look like auschwitz victims much less ultra-marathoners.

this is a dehydration issue, he'll have water/gatorade stations ever 1 or 2 km's if it's a proper race, also, i'd advice he grab a gatorade gel pack and ingest it halfway through the race

i dunno if it's a typo but he put 62 miles. i'm thinking alot more gel packs than that lol. a 10k is 6.2 miles though so i have to think that's what he meant but who knows maybe it's some superhypermegaultramarathon.
